We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing, private equity-backed service business with a turnover of approximately 100M. This is a key role focused on delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing a finance team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Full ownership of the month-end close process, including preparation and review of detailed management accounts
Ensure all reconciliations, journals, and adjustments are completed accurately and on time
Deliver comprehensive month-end reporting packs with variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders and investors
Maintain compliance with SOX requirements and ensure a robust control environment
Oversee statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors
Manage and develop a finance team, ensuring clear objectives and accountability
Support FP&A activities, providing insight into performance and trends
Contribute to integration projects and process enhancements

Skills and Experience Required:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA essential)
Strong technical accounting knowledge and proven experience in month-end reporting and management accounts
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a finance team effectively onsite
Experience working under SOX compliance or within a strong control environment
FP&A experience with strong analytical and reporting skills
SQL experience desirable
Integration experience advantageous
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
